Results are in
Today Kallan and i headed down to Sydney to get the results of his scans.Mum came along with us as she had a present that she wanted to give to Ronald McDonald house.Shaylie couldn't come down today as she had an appointment at Maitland hospital to get her full cast put on.She has a pretty pink one on and she sent me a picture of it after she had it put on.Kal and i had a fairly short wait in clinic today which was good but even better than that was the news that the scans came back all clear with no sign of any cancer about. It was a great moment to hear the doctor say that everything is good.We have another trip back to Sydney on Monday for kal to have his central line removed. He can't wait for that. His next lot of scans are not until October so after Monday he'll have a decent break from hospitals apart from his weekly physio sessions.

Great work Kal - what a true champion you are. It must have been just wonderful for both you and dad to hear the doctor give you the "all clear". I know that you went there expecting to get the great news but it still must have been a sense of relief just the same. I can't express how much I admire how you both have come through this whole thing. I am so proud of you.
I have yet to see Shaylie's pink arm. She certainly looked pleased with herself in the photo, but then again, she always looks pleased with herself in photos. Everyone in Sydney was asking where she was and were all upset to hear about her broken arm, she sure is a big favorite with everyone.
Once again Kal, we are all so proud and are so happy to get such great news for you. Lots of love always
