Getting better

Today saw an improvement but still not feeling fantastic.He had a bit of an unsettled night but woke this morning a little better.He's sharing a room with another young boy around his age and he was able to chat and play a few games on the PlayStation together and with Mel,his favourite wacky nurse,looking after them both they were certainly kept amused.He loves having Mel look after him because she always keeps things upbeat and pays out on me constantly.He also had another favourite Nicole(Blondy)looking after him so it was a double bonus for him.I get the feeling that he's a bit of a favourite with them as well.Although feeling better he's still very sleepy and later tonight he started to feel a bit off again.He settled off to sleep OK and hopefully a good nights sleep will see more of an improvement tomorrow.

Anonymous said...: So glad to hear Kal had his favourite Nurse ladies around him to lift up his spirits. Only one other lady can do the same and that is his Mum. It is just so lovely and heartwarming to see how much he loves Karina and is never shy about demonstrating his love for her and freely snuggles in and kisses her. What a privileged mother she is. I am so glad he has Darren with him all the time, too as you are precious to him too Darren. You share so many interests and get so much pleasure from sharing similar interests together. My love to you all. Please let his favourite nurses know that I appreciate them so much and their gift of bringing uplifting fun with such sick young people. God Bless. I haven't left a message for you for a while so just thought I would say hello and let you know we are always thinking of you.

We have our own Benji in our family now maybe he will be as good as Benji Marshall someday. But he won't play for the tigers if Aunty Kym has anything to do with it lol.
