Stars of the show

Today Shaylie and her friend Rose were supposed to perform with a live band.Only problem was the live band didn't show up.Not to be put off by the small inconvenience the girls soldiered on regardless and produced a faultless performance which included a few dance moves not seen in previous performances. They only had a short while to put it all together as Rose only arrived at the house this morning. But put it together they did and with the band a no show they were definitely the stars of the day.Kal had a good day and he filled the roll of MC for the girls. He did it in the most cool and laid back fashion you would only expect from Kal.

Later in the evening we went to hogs breath for tea.Mum and Shaylie will be going home at some stage tomorrow so I thought we could do something nice.Apart from her singing Shaylie it seems has a very busy social calender with girls wanting to play left, right and centre. It seems as though all the girls are leaving tomorrow as well so there shouldn't be too much drama when it comes time for her to go home.

Good to know the lack of a band does not daunt Shaylie. She is such a positive little miss, that she will overcome any hic cup and continue to have fun! - her way!. I am glad it was such a good performance and why wouldn't it be with a terrific audience to cheer along. Karina seems to have the bug that is going around and she is still not the healthiest person today. It seems to take nearly a couple of weeks to get over, but is supposed to not be infectious for all that time according to Annette who has had it.
I am glad you 'boys' had a good day at the 'animal centre' and Kallan was so enthused he may even consider a possible career change. How about that!
Hope all goes well with the next week's Chemo Kallan. We will all be thinking of you and hoping you can come home for a visit after it. Love to you both. Nanny T

Was told that Kal was a great MC .Love you guys hearing rumours you might be home soon but will wait til it happens as I know that things don't always go to plan.Anyway! Fingers crossed love you The Morris Clan

I must say that I agree with you 100% about the girls being stars of the show and Kal, even though he was a little reluctant at first, was a real pro. Dash, you forgot to mention that the girls had a new member of the group (for one song) - Grace. I think she did quite well, seeing as it was her very first "gig".

I have to say that leaving the house was particularly hard today as I had to say goodbye to three very beautiful ladies - Georgia, Helen and Michaela. I certainly hope I get to see them again one day. I'm so glad that they will finally get to go home tomorrow and I wish them all the very best that life has to offer. Little Georgia has seen enough of hospitals for a while now, she just needs to have fun as a little girl from now on. It certainly will be a very strange feeling going back to the house next time and not having them there. Once again, all the best to you girls, hope to see you one day soon.

Speaking of the house - I hope it has all been put back together again by now. When Shaylie and I left, it almost looked as if cyclone Tracey had hit, with workers in just about every corner of the house. I'm sure it will all be worth it when they are all finished.

Well I must go now - see you both on Tuesday evening. Lots of love always
