CanTeen is a program that is "designed to support, develop and empower young people living with cancer, to help them take back control of their lives".
Their camps "bring together patients, the brothers and sisters of patients, and the sons or daughters of patients, so they can learn about cancer and share their experiences with each other".

Been reading all the comments about how amazing you are well in my usual fashion it's time to but my two bobs worth in!
The resiliance of this family was tested in 1984 when as a very young family we lost our father.You were only 7 then dash and probably have only a few memories of dad but i remember everything! The best memory is of how thrilled he was when you were born-he idolised you. We all did! I wanted a baby brother so much that I went door knocking the entire neighbourhood and even then some telling them that i had a baby brother-several hours later you were born-Thank God you were a boy other wise I would have had to walk the streets again with a lot of explaining to do!
I have said many times over that the most amazing man I know is our Poppy Berthold.The things he endured throughout his life-Being a prisoner of war for 3 years-growing up in the drepression years- the floods etc and not having a single ounce of bitterniss being the most humble man i ever knew! Then when nanny had her stroke he gave up work and cared for her for the next 20years until the day she died.He dedicated himself to her the way you are dedicating yourself to Kallan right now!I think that it is through this amazing man that we have learnt the sense of family! But in saying that i think if curley was looking at you now(which i'm sure he is) he would be amazed at the man you are! I know that he would rightfully be handing over the tag to you of the most amazing man i know! I know that you are now a grown man and you don't need your big sister's watching over you but we are here and we are thinking of you everyday and we marvel at how strong you are .We love you so much and are so proud of the man you have become!
