WHAT A DAY!!!! Fanbloodytastic.

Kallan's Benefit Day went off with a bang. The wind and rain did nothing to dampen (pun intended) anyones spirits. The jumping castle was moved inside, the barefoot bowls was cancelled but the party continued.

Kallan was able to attend, although he did go home for a rest, and then came back to meet Steve Simpson of the Knights.

The community rallied and dug deep to raise a HUGE $24,000+.

Good stuff, the photos were really cute, seeing Kal must have been a highlight for all there as at first this was not going to happen that Kallan be there. What a great day, only wish we were there. Thanks Maitland City Bowling Club and staff - directors etc. Good Luck Simmo with the Knights in 2009.
