Kallan has been a bit crook this morning. He is feeling better but is extremely tired. He has also been a bit emotional today. We love you Kal.

Sorry to hear you've not had a good one today Kal. If only we could take on some of it for you. It's awful feeling rotten all the time when you're so used to being able to just run outside and belt the crap out of the trampoline or race around with a ball. And all the upheaval of being away from home and your friends and family; it's only natural it's going to get you down. Don't worry too much about feeling down though Kal. Go easy on yourself. Make the most of the good days when you have them and take the rotten ones as they come and keep telling yourself a good one will be round the corner. We're always thinking of you. Brody had a cry today. He lost his Kallanism hat. He thinks he left it at the club on Sunday he is so upset. In his words "It's me mates special hat mum and i miss it"
If it's not too late I would like to order another one if someone can tell me who to contact.
We love you and are constantly thinking of you Kallan. This week is Thanksgiving break here in the USA and it really has been a time that I can look at all I am thankful for and you are constantly in my thoughts. I am thankful that you are getting treatment, fighting this. I am thankful you have family and friends that just love you to bits and are so willing to help. I am thankful that you never have to be alone in this and that snuggles and cuddles are never far away. AND I am ever so thankful for you. You are a wonderful boy that I have such fond thoughts of when I think of you. Cade reminds me of you in alot of ways and I think of that little boy you were when I watch him. You are a champ Kal and we love you.
I spoke to you and Brody just before you left and Brody had his cap on. We were taking orders but no - one ordered any. At this stage I have about 7 pink caps left - which Leyanne Egar will sell at her dance concert this saturday. If anyone wants to order caps we need to order at least 25 of the one colour. If anyone wants to order just let me know. I will also follow up the club to see if any hats were left

Kallan is a 10 year old boy, (who happens to be my nephew) and who has recently been diagnosed with an osteosarcoma in his right humerus bone. It is not a terminal cancer and is very treatable and more importantly, cureable.
This blog has been created to inform, answer and (document) his journey to recovery. It is to be used as a resource of information of Kallan's treatments and progress so as not to burden and overwhelm Karina and Darren with the answering of many questions to many people.
