It was a really long day for Kallan today. He had surgery to clear the blockage in his central line. It is normally a procedure that takes 30 minutes but Kallan's surgery took nearly three hours. He spent a lot of time sleeping afterwards.
Chemotherapy starts tomorrow.
Darren took Shaylie to the movies today to see High School Musical 3.

I've been checking your blog to see how you went today - wondering how it was all going for you. It sounds like you gave them a bit of a challenge there Kal. I'll bet you feel really zonked after that marathon effort! They've got it all fixed for you now by the sounds of it anyway. Good luck for start of chemo tommorrow - hope it all goes well and it's over and done with without making you too crook. We were thinking about coming down to see you tommorrow before it all went pear shaped for you this week, delaying the chemo. Maybe next week if you're well enough and not up here anyway.
