Today was a very exciting and somewhat nervous day for Kallan and to a lesser extent myself.We had a relaxing morning and just before midday he got suited up in his school uniform and headed off to school.Not only was it very satisfying to see him go to school but it was a important step in his recovery to experience a bit of normality.As expected his school mates were overjoyed to see him with a lot of them skipping afternoon tea to stay in the classroom with Kal as it was a bit too hot for him to spend too long outside.His teacher Mrs Tame also said how happy she was to see him looking so well.When we arrived to pick him up she told us that he'd had a great time and said he may not want to leave.But Kal had had enough and wanted to come home but did say how much he enjoyed his few hours with his school mates.He'll have the day off tomorrow and after he has blood taken at john hunter on Friday morning he's going to spend the afternoon at school.

Whoo Hoo! So glad that you are home and that you were able to spend a few hours at school. I am itching to come and visit you but can't get rid of this cold and don't want to pass it on to you. Ronnie got pretty sick with his cold last night so don't want to spread those germs to you either. Bummer!!!! have a great time at home and I am hoping to be able to come see you this weekend. I am not working tomorrow so plan to spend the day in bed in the hopes of getting over this cold and catching up with you on the weekend. Love you!
hey kal im glad you had fun at skhool on wedsday and im also glad i got to see you even thow i dident go to skhool and mum said shes sorry she couldent come and see you on time befor you lefed and guess wat the funnyest thing happend after because my mum started netball on wedsday and as soon as the wissle blow seh fell over and everybody there had the bigest laugh it was so so funny any way hope you feel better soon lots of love brody,jordan,courtney,mum,and dad,
How good it was to see you at school with your class mates after such a long time. I'm sure they were all very excited to see you.
I'm sure it won't be too long before you are back at school full time. That may not sound very exciting, but I know you would much prefer that to what you are going through at the moment.
