Home on Thursday

Kal had a few appointments this morning and after seeing the doctor we were told that we could come home on Thursday.We need to see the doctor on Thursday before we leave and we'll be able to stay at home for the week.We are due back on the 27th for his next dose of chemo.During his time at home he'll get the chance to go to school for a few hours each day something he is really looking forward to.We are required to visit John Hunter for one day to have bloods taken.We're both really looking forward to coming home.

Today Shaylie had her 15 minutes of fame.While visiting the starlight room in her lunch break from school she was asked to co-host the starlight quiz in the afternoon.I watched from down the house and thought she did a fantastic job.She read the questions very well with some incisive comments added in at just the right moments.Good job Shay.

Great news that you and Dad are coming home on Thursday. Hopefully we can catch up when you are home but then you are so popular that everyone will want to see you.

Did Shaylie and Mum tell you about the baked dinner that they had at our house last week....I will have to cook you and Dad one as well.
