Nursing staff have told Darren and Karina that Kallan is a strong boy and he is coping with the chemotherapy very well as it is the worst kind of chemotherapy to have.

Kallan is a 10 year old boy, (who happens to be my nephew) and who has recently been diagnosed with an osteosarcoma in his right humerus bone. It is not a terminal cancer and is very treatable and more importantly, cureable.
This blog has been created to inform, answer and (document) his journey to recovery. It is to be used as a resource of information of Kallan's treatments and progress so as not to burden and overwhelm Karina and Darren with the answering of many questions to many people.
