Hi Kallan, We were all sad to hear that you are sick we all hope you get better very soon and thanks for filling in for some of our games this year we will be calling on you next year. From Rutherford U12 White.(Samuel & Matthew's Team.) P.S. we made it to the grandfinal but we got beaten by one goal. All the guys played great in the 34 degress heat,man it was hot.Samuel Procter.
Kallan is a 10 year old boy, (who happens to be my nephew) and who has recently been diagnosed with an osteosarcoma in his right humerus bone. It is not a terminal cancer and is very treatable and more importantly, cureable.
This blog has been created to inform, answer and (document) his journey to recovery. It is to be used as a resource of information of Kallan's treatments and progress so as not to burden and overwhelm Karina and Darren with the answering of many questions to many people.
Please read, comment, laugh, cry, and witness Kallan's recovery.
