Kathryn (Kallan's Aunty who lives in America) has been wanting to make Kallan a special comfort blanket for him while he is in hospital. She has spent many hours, at numerous stores, searching for the best deal and the perfect fabric.
While shopping a lady commented on the fabric Kathryn had chosen. Kathryn explained what it was for and who and why. She had to again repeat the story while purchasing the fabric.
The first lady (who was still shopping) came over and said, "I just really want to give you some money toward your blanket. I really want to feel I have helped in some way and please let your nephew know we will be praying for him and hoping for a quick recovery."
Kathryn was really touched and graciously accepted her offer.
Both ladies asked for Kallan's blog address to follow along and so they could see the finished blanket.
Kathryn thought it was just so nice that people are willing to help complete strangers and can feel that concern and love for people they have never met.
